Safe Harbor Great Lakes Marina - Muskegon

In response to the winter 2023 fire damage suffered at Safe Harbor Great Lakes Marina in Muskegon, MI, Platinum took charge of an extensive renovation project. The assignment involved the restoration of Building 3, a 50,000 square foot pre-engineered metal boat storage facility. The scope of work included the removal and replacement of all interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, new installation from top to bottom including insulation, sheeting, lighting, fans and heaters. A new fire suppression system and fire alarm system were installed ensuring the safety and modernization of the entire facility. 

Infinity Dental – Spring Lake

Started during the fall of 2020 and finished the following spring, Platinum completed a brand new facility for Infinity Dental in Spring Lake, MI. Consisting of nearly 5,000 square feet, eight treatment rooms, three offices, a reception area and waiting room, three bathrooms and space for X-ray and imaging, Platinum handled the project from start to finish including clearing the lot next to their former location, construction of the new building, and the subsequent demolition of the old building.

Muskegon City Hall

Platinum is pleased to have recently completed extensive renovations in a 4,000 sq/ft area at the 2nd floor of the Muskegon City Hall building, which includes new individual offices and open floor space for cubicles, a new ceiling grid and ceiling tiles, new lighting, new carpet, and more.

Sobie Meats

Platinum was asked to create a new user-friendly entrance for their customers. The addition consisted of adding 2 sets of automatic doors to assist guest entering the building along with helping logistical flow. The addition also created storage and retail space. While this was a very straight forward build the store had to be open during normal business hours without interruption. Temporary measures were takin to ensure customers still felt welcome and safe entering and exiting thru an active construction project.

Marriot

This project was a full renovation from an Existing Holiday Inn and functioning restaurant. Platinum did a phased remodel of common areas while the hotel and restaurant remained occupied. With limited working hours, event schedules, and occupied areas, Platinum was able to turn this project around 4 months. The project consisted of ball room and meeting space updates, a “new” bar and restaurant, a new fitness center, along with all other common areas.
